The interprovincial concert with Die Singgemeinschaft Calgary (the German Song Society) in concert and hosted by the Victoria Harmony Choir.

This event features the Calgary Choir's spring repertoire and includes a several songs that will be performed jointly by both choirs.

Come join us for Springfest, Oktoberfest’s smaller sibling, it’s also the much, much younger one.

While Oktoberfest started way back in 1810, Frühlingsfest started in 1965.

This Springfest is a family friendly event. The hall will be filled with vendors for some spring shopping, enjoy a beverage from the bar, a snack from the kitchen, watch the maypole dance and the kids can bounce the day away in a bouncy castle!

The topic for our April meeting will be poets and writers from East Prussia, spanning from von Herder to von Schlenkendorf, from Bobrowski to Wiechert and anyone in-between. Please come prepared to share a favorite poem, short story, or any intriguing facts about the literature of East Prussia.

A friendly reminder that our Literaturkreis meetings are conducted in German. The meeting will conclude with a coffee social where we can continue our discussions in a relaxed setting.
